One of the major ongoing projects our GRIT members are conductıng is Lingua Trek, an Erasmus+ initiative that seeks to transform foreign language education using a digital game-based learning approach.

Lingua Trek is a collaborative project involving eight partner institutions from six countries, coordinated by Spain, with Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University playing a significant role. The project aims to make English language learning more engaging and effective by integrating game mechanics with language instruction, creating an interactive and enjoyable learning experience for students.
With a budget of 400,000 Euros and a three-year timeline, the project is supported by key GRIT team members who are actively contributing to its work packages. Our team is responsible for:
- Developing innovative teaching materials and lesson plans for integration into the digital game.
- Designing professional development programs for teachers, enhancing their ability to use digital game-based learning.
- Creating and refining the mobile game scenario to provide a dynamic language learning platform.
- Piloting the game to ensure it meets educational objectives and engages students effectively.
