On April 7, 2025, the “Meeting with the Unconscious” creative writing workshop with Dr. Defne ÇİZAKÇA was truly inspiring for us. Our university student participants from different universities had the chance to look at the writing process from a new perspective, to accept and express their own writing styles more. Accompanied by the book Sıdıka Hanım’ın Büyüleri (Pinhan, 2025), the participants took a small journey into the unconscious through Jungian exercises; the ideas, emotions and stories that emerged were quite impressive.
During this 2.5 hour free session, Defne’s sincere guidance and the safe space she created made the workshop unforgettable for all of us.
