Hello, everyone! I’m excited to share a glimpse into my professional and academic life. As an English instructor at Tarsus University School of Foreign Languages, I’ve been teaching English since 2017. Over the years, I’ve embraced the ever-evolving challenges and joys of teaching, constantly seeking ways to grow and inspire.

Academic Pursuits: Where Passion Meets Research

My academic journey has been deeply rooted in exploring innovative ideas and methods that empower both educators and learners. I completed my Master’s degree in Foreign Language Education with a focus on 21st Century Skills, which opened my eyes to the transformative power of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication in language learning.

Currently, I’m in the doctoral thesis phase, and my research is an interdisciplinary adventure. My thesis bridges Positive Psychology and English Language Teaching, delving into areas such as teacher motivationteacher education, and complexity theory. These topics fuel my curiosity and passion for finding meaningful ways to enhance the teaching-learning experience.

Areas of Interest: A Mix of Theoretical and Practical Perspectives

The world of education is vast, and I find myself drawn to several fascinating areas, including: 21st Century SkillsPositive PsychologyComplexity Theory, and Teacher Education & Motivation.

My Philosophy: Bringing Positivity and Energy to Education

I like to think of myself as a positive and energetic person, someone who finds joy in connecting with people and making a difference, no matter how small. I thrive on social interaction and believe in the power of collaboration and community, both in personal and professional contexts. My ultimate goal is to be a guiding light in academia, contributing to the growth of knowledge and inspiring others along the way.

Beyond the Classroom and Research

While academia is a significant part of my life, I also love engaging in meaningful discussions and sharing insights. Whether it’s through my teaching, my research, or my social media presence, I aim to connect with others and spark curiosity about the wonderful complexities of education.

This journey has been filled with moments of challenge and triumph, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story. If you’d like to explore more about my work or discuss ideas, feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect!

Here’s to learning, growing, and making a difference together! 😊
