In the first years of my nearly 7 years of teaching experience, I worked as an English teacher in a private school. Since 2020, I have been working at Tarsus University Foreign Languages Department as the deputy head of the Preparatory Unit. My passion for education includes my interest in 21st century skills, positive psychology and the use of artificial intelligence tools (AI tools) in education, which have recently become very popular.

Throughout my education life, I won prizes in writing, ranked first in poetry competitions and worked as an editor in the school magazine. I also received language training in England through EF Education First and earned a C1 level English speaking certificate. During my teaching years, I was able to teach abroad thanks to the Teacher Training certificate I received in Cambridge. I took an active role in the TÜBİTAK 2237 Innovative Learning Project, participated in trainings and made presentations.

As a member of Adana Güney Rotaract Club, I see it as a responsibility to add value to the society I live in and to take part in good projects for the world. On my own social media platform, akademiveannelik, I produce content by combining my academic and motherhood life.

My goal is to take part in projects that will contribute to my professional and personal development; to contribute to Turkish and world science by signing projects such as TÜBİTAK and Erasmus. I am interested in many fields where I can take part in different roles such as researcher, content designer, event coordinator or social media content developer. However, my priority right now is to successfully complete my PhD and continue my scientific journey with a strong step.

If we talk about my dreams, I dream of one day becoming an icon like Assoc. Prof. Saniye Bencik Kangal, known as “Akademisyenanne”. Apart from that, as a high-energy social butterfly, I am always open to learning, sharing and co-producing. ✨
