Nermin PUNAR ÖZÇELİK is an educator and researcher in the field of language teaching and technology integration. Graduating in 2017 from the English Language Teaching Department at Mersin University as the second highest achiever in their faculty, she quickly pursued advanced studies, completing an MA at Bursa Uludağ University in 2019. The same year, she began her career as an English lecturer at Tarsus University’s School of Foreign Languages. She first served as the head of the department and then, and now, as vice-director of the school.

Recently completing a PhD at Gazi University, Nermin specializes in technology-enhanced language education and intercultural communication. Her research includes a TÜBİTAK-supported doctoral project on Augmented Reality in English language teaching, which contributes innovative insights into educational technology applications. As a recognized expert, she have delivered training on educational technology integration for teachers working in Tarsus schools as a part of Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education and in a 2237 TÜBİTAK project.
In April 2024, she joined Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, as a guest researcher for a three-week period, further broadening her academic horizons. A coffee enthusiast, she often finds inspiration over a cup of coffee, and her passion for photography is evident in her captures of books, coffee scenes, and details from diverse locales.
