In 2022, she transitioned from teaching English to teacher training and began working as a faculty member at the Faculty of Education at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. Her current mission is to train future English teachers in the best possible way. To achieve this, she participated in the Sabancı University School of Languages Trainer Education Program (SLTEP) and obtained her teacher trainer certification.

Ümran, whose rising sign is Virgo, conducts her entire life with order and diligence outside of her academic work. In her free time, she expresses her inner world through writing and drawing, and reads inspiring books. With the motto from her favorite book, “The Little Prince,” stating “One sees clearly only with the heart,” she creates abstract drawings that reflect her admiration for the depth beyond appearances and words, while leaving the task of depicting happiness to Abidin. She dreams of creating projects within the framework of human psychology, society, and language.
